11 May 2017, Thursday. Desert Full Moon Walk

The modern village of Arab al Rashaydeh dates back to 1983, although its residents have lived there intermitently for much longer. The name Arab Al-Rashayda is in relation to the Rashaydeh tribe, a tribe that exists across the Arab world and is related to Rashid family.

This hike is a unique opportunity to the walk in the Jerusalem desert, guided by the illuminating light of the full moon.  You will stay overnight in a Bedouin tent before waking to an early morning walk, which will lead you across the desert terrain to a stunning point overlooking the Dead Sea and Jordan. After watching the sun rise, you will be transferred back to the Bedouin tent by jeep.
