4 February 2017, Saturday. Reshayda to Beni Naim

Spring’s enjoyable and exciting activities is just started, Saturday’s hike is one of the wonderful stages that everyone should try walking. It extends from Al-Rashayda, which is located 18.7km (Horizontal Distance) south-east of Bethlehem, to Bani N’eim which is 7 kilometers to the east of Hebron. It is a rocky and uneven road, but worth walking.

What to bring:

  • Lightweight walking boots
  • Walking poles
  • At least 3-4 liters of water and snacks/ Lunch for the walk
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Your camera

  • Meet and walk with people who also love nature and exploring new territory
  • Hike from the Reshayda desert area to Beni Naim
  • Look over the Jordan Valley below as did Abraham as he watched the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah
  • The terrain is rocky and uneven.
