The Arab Al Rashaydeh village dates back to 1983. The village name ‘Arab Al-Rashayda derives from the Al-Rashayda tribe that exists across the Arab world, related to the Rashid family.

 

This hike offers a unique opportunity to the walk in the Jerusalem desert, guided by the illuminating light of the full moon.  You will sleep overnight in a Bedouin tent and wake to an early morning walk. You will hike through the rough desert terrain to a lookout spot from which you can watch the sunrise with the Dead Sea in the foreground and the mountains of Jordan in the background. You will be transferred back from the sunrise point by jeep.
