The Samaritan Walk offers travelers a rare opportunity to go beyond the headlines and the stereotypes, to get away from the ordinary Holy Land tours, and to explore for themselves the remarkable landscape, ancient historical sites and hospitable culture of Palestine. Take the first step to walk the trail, you are guaranteed to be rewarded with a life-enhancing experience. 

The Samaritan Walk begin in the northern city of Nablus and ends in Bethlehem.

 

 

 

 

Itinerary:

Day One:  

 

From Jerusalem transfer to Nablus.

Visit the Samaritan community on Mt. Gerazim.

Overnight in the Old City of Nablus.

 

Day Two:  

 

From Awarta head towards Duma
Overnight with local families

 

Day Three:

 

Visit Al Auja and the Auja Spring, an important water source in the area
Overnight at Bedouin camp

 

Day Four:

 

Explore Jericho

Visit Hisham's Palace and the Mount of Temptation

Float in the Dead Sea
Overnight at a local hotel in Jericho


Day Five:

 

Walk through Wadi Qelt

Visit the Greek Orthodox Monastery of St. George Koziba

Take in the Jerusalem wilderness
Overnight in Jericho

 

Day Six:

Visit Nabi Musa and see the tomb of Moses

Visit Mar Saba Greek Orthodox Monastery

Transfer to Bethlehem and see the Old City and the Nativity Church
