The walk begins in the Old City of Sebastia, 12 km northwest of Nablus.  The ancient city of Sebastia is situated on a hilltop, and is home to several important archaeological sites which date back to the Canaanite, Hellenistic, Herodian, Roman and Byzantine cultures.  After that and In Sabestia, our host will introduce us to a delicacy of the area - zarb, prepared in a special submerged oven. All of us will join her in the preparations of the dish, which is a mix of tender chicken and various vegetables. The common preparation of the meal will be a perfect occasion to learn more about Palestinian culture and everyday life in the area.
